It's OK but it's more about chester city center and the walk around. However Powells jewellery shop is amazing with superb staff

Came to Chester to visit the grosvenor shopping centre last week and was disappointed to find that 65% of shops in the actual shopping centre are now closed. They put big stickers over the windows to make the premises look used but it's becoming a ghost town. I had lunch then decided to head home early, only to find that the ticket machine was not working. I was then informed that there was no barrier anymore so I drove out. Only a week later, I received a £100 fine. Nice one. Will obviously not ve coming back.

Showing its age in some areas. Refurb underway in various areas. Fantastic location for centre of Chester which is lovely.
Parking was good if a little tight for access in places. SUV's beware. Watch headroom!
All in all a good day out taking into account the surrounding areas.

Becoming another sad retail hub with too many empty units. Hopefully renovations might improve matters but rents & rates need to encourage businesses to come and to stay. Still no change. Same old.

It's a shame most shop units are empty. But the ones they have are very good. The cleaners and security staff are always around if you need help. It's very clean.
